ACTIVIST INVESTING (GB) broke out at the start, dropped to the hedge early, saved ground on the first turn, was rated off the pace while following the leader, moved closer coming to the half-mile pole, made an outside bid at the seven-sixteenths, vied in the two path on the final turn, was asked at the quarter-pole, took over in upper stretch, responded well under a right-handed crop into the final furlong and held under steady urging. CLEVER THOUGHT broke near the back of the field, went around the first turn in the two path, settled at the rear, moved closer with a half-mile to run, was roused while three then four wide on the far turn, gained outside into upper stretch, chased the winner under a right-handed crop into the final furlong and was second best. OPERATION TORCH was taken under a snug hold while into the bit, went three wide on the first turn, was rated on the outside, moved closer with a half-mile to run, ranged up three wide on the far turn, was asked outside the quarter-pole, chased under a drive into the final furlong and weakened while clear for the show. OUR DREAM RYE'D leaned out and brushed the gate while last to commence then dropped back early, settled on the inside at the rear, moved closer with a half-mile to run, saved ground on the far turn, was roused outside the quarter-pole, raced behind horses in upper stretch, altered out at the furlong marker and came up empty.
