NORTH COAST In hand four wide, gained along the three path, collared the leader at the furlong marker and drew off. N Y RIESLING Vied for the lead along the two path, cleared on the turn, was collared, battled briefly and then lasted for the place. CLINGMAN Broke a step slow, in hand along the rail, angled out to the three path into the stretch, responded and closed well. FIGHTER KITE Vied for the lead along the three path early, took the rail on the turn and weakened inside. SORPRESO Stumbled at the start, lagged back, saved ground on the turn, eased out and failed to threaten. MATT DOYLE In tight nearing the five-eighths pole, checked, four wide into the lane and tired outside.
