AMERICAN UNION unhurried, moved up two and three wide through the turn, angled in and came through inside of rivals into the stretch, then angled out split foes, made a steady gain and edged up late. JARETH unhurried, looped up three and four wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and edged up for the place in the final strides. KING ECLIPTICAL set the pace on the inside, shook clear through the turn, drew off in the stretch, then weakened late and held the show. K'S LITTLE BILL tracked the pace, saved ground through the turn, angled out to bid outside the leader into the stretch, then weakened the final furlong and held a share. BIG CHICKEN MAN led in the early going, vied for the leader outside to the turn, lost some ground through the turn, then faded three wide in the stretch. HEATHER'S GOLD well placed and outside, held position two and three wide through the turn, then faded four wide into the stretch.
