Chart notes
FIELDER stalked the pace on the outside, held position on the two path through the turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, then made a steady gain, drew off the final furlong and was kept to the task. CHARLIE CHARLIE well placed and off the rail, gained position two and three wide through the turn, drifted out five wide into the stretch, then made a steady gain and edged up for the place. LAWN DART veered from the rail in the early going, sprinted clear, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then weakened late and held the show. TURNS tracked the pace pulling, saved ground through the turn, angled three wide into the stretch and weakened. OLDZFOURFORTYTWO well placed lost ground three and four wide through the turn, then could not gain in the lane. I ONCE STOOD ALONE allowed to settle, looped up three and four wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch and had no rally.
