Chart notes
IDEA MAN raced mid pack towards the inside, bid off the rail leaving the turn, shifted out, bid between horses, assumed command and drew off under urging. PERFECT WAGER was unhurried early, saved ground, angled out for the drive and finished well to earn place while no threat to the winner. PUBLIC SAFETY came out at the start, raced mid pack, bid willingly to contend, hunmg late and settled for show. CHICKS FOR FREE trailed the field, bid inside entering the stretch, shifted out and closed well late. HATCHET CREEK was never far off the pace, rallied into the stretch to vie for the lead, came up empty late and dropped back. TEA AFTER BALLET came out at the start, lagged early, was crowded mid stretch and failed to threaten. SOUPER FORTUNE was never far back, raced inside, rallied leavving the turn to vie, altered course late and leveled off. CHOPPER was sent to the front to set the pace with a clear lead, bore out on the turn, fell back, bore out in the stretch and fell further back.
