Chart notes
TRUE QUEEN pressed the pace from the three path then took the lead from the half mile marker and pulled away on the turn and held off the late closer. BINOCHE broke out at the start then rushed up to be in striking distance while racing five wide to the turn then tipped in to three wide at the three furlong marker and tipping in to two wide at upper stretch, made a late charge in the stretch to miss the win. PAYNT BY NUMBER was off the pace on the inside to the turn then moved out to two wide around the turn and tipped out to three wide in the stretch, held on for the show. SURCHARGE trailed the field while saving ground around the turn and kept on moving up the inside to improve position. PRAIRIE TALES had good early speed to the half mile marker then retreated. BOUND BY TRUTH was restless in the gate, vied for the lead from two wide then had traffic at the half mile marker and fell back on the turn, failed to menace.
