Chart notes
STARLITE WALKER vied inside for the lead, shook free on the turn, responded when roused, dug in gamely inside of BAYOU SHACK in the final sixteenth and held off that rival to prevail. BAYOU SHACK stalked three wide in the early stages, moved up to challenge at the quarter pole, rallied outside of STARLITE WALKER, dug in gamely in the final sixteenth but could not get by. PRACTICAL WAY vied two wide for the lead, chased into the stretch, dug in through the stretch run and held on for third. SOUPER ROYAL MOON chased on the inside, chased on the turn, gained mildly on the rail and missed for third. DORSODURO raced off the rail, off the pace, came four wide into the lane and lacked a rally. HEREBY chased three wide, chased on the turn and failed to rally. DADASHEV chased between rivals early on, chased on the turn and tired. MERCHANTS OF COOL was steadied at the start and off slowly, then raced off the pace inside and did not factor.
