Chart notes
DANCING MISCHIEF was hustled from the gate, moved from the rail to the two path late on the first turn, tracked the pace down the backstretch, ranged up in the three path on the far turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths then made a bid outside the quarter-pole, took the lead at the top of the stretch then kicked clear inside the three-sixteenths, drifted in some under a right-handed crop coming to the furlong marker and drew away under steady urging. KHADULLAH broke out but was away towards the front, dropped from the three path to the rail while going to the front on the first turn, showed the way with an uncontested, vied in the two path early on the far turn then dropped to the rail, was asked approaching the quarter-pole, lost the advantage at the top of the stretch, moved out behind the winner near the furlong marker and weakened but just held the place. ERIC FROM MIAMI was hustled from the gate, went four wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, was roused four wide on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and just missed the place while able to get the show. SAVAGE SPIRIT was fractious in the gate, broke a bit slow while forced out, went four under urging on the first turn, settled outside under some encouragement, went four to five wide on the far turn, was driven six wide into the stretch and missed the trifecta while clear for the last spot in the superfecta. A KNIGHT'S COURAGE broke out at the start, rounded the first turn in the two path, settled in the front half of the field, traveled three wide on the far turn, was asked inside the three-eighths and came up empty. ONE WITHEVERYTHING veered out then hit the gate and was off slow, spotted the front several lengths, went four wide on the first turn, settled at the rear, went three wide on the final turn and was no factor. LOVE THAT BIRD was hustled from the start, saved ground while dropping back under vigorous urging on the first turn, continued to fall further off the pace on the backstretch, moved from the rail to the two path on the far turn and showed little. FROZEN FOUR was hustled from the start, came out to the two path on the first turn, settled well off the pace, dropped back while inside to the two path on the far turn and faltered then was eased but walked off.
