Chart notes
TIO MAGICO bumped inner rival leaving the chute, settled in the three path, moved inside and drew closer up the backstretch, tipped three wide into the lane, collared the leader with a sixteenth to go and drove clear. EL POTENTE dueled for command from outside, fought three deep into the far turn, shook free midway around the bend and moved inside, led clear into the final furlong, clung to a short lead over TIO MAGICO with a sixteenth left to run and yield to the winner. BAJ stalked the top pair, bid between leaving the backstretch, got put tight and shuffled back a bit early on the far turn, chased two wide into the lane and finished evenly for the show. ACT THREE raced four wide leaving the chute then steered to the inside racing towards the rear, saved ground through both turns, tipped out in upper stretch, summoned a mild rally and rounded out the superfecta. FLY THE SKY got sandwiched between rivals leaving the chute, rated in the two path then between rivals, chased four wide turning for home and improved position. EASTBOUND got bumped from outside leaving the chute, rated along the inside early, moved closer between rivals in the middle stages, tipped four wide into the lane and flattened out. HAKKIMI (CHI) chased six deep entering the stretch first time around, traveled four deep in mid-pack on the clubhouse turn, three deep on the second bend, went between rivals in the lane and failed to threaten. MISCHELOF (CHI) was off a bit slow to begin, trailed on the inside early, chased outside a rival at the back into the far turn, between rivals at the quarter pole, altered course entering the lane and failed to menace. FIFTY CENT DOLLARS tracked three deep around the clubhouse turn, inched closer up the backstretch, spun five wide into the lane and weakened. VANCOUGAR was along the three path into the first turn off the pace, angled in on the backstretch, found traffic on the far turn, roused two wide into the lane and came up empty. REMOTE dueled for the lead from inside, lost touch with the leader approaching the quarter pole and gave way.
