LAMASCO set a clear pace early on, was overtaken near the seven sixteenths pole, came back under a long drive into the lane from the rail then drew away late in the stretch under a brisk drive. CENTER STAGE attended the lead early on but backed off and stalked the early leader, took over command near the seven sixteenths pole, was put under a long drive into the lane while two wide and was no match for the winner late in the stretch run. COEXIST tracked the leaders early on, raced in the five path into the lane and moved up in the stretch drive. WITS AND WAGERS tracked the pace early, made a bid three wide along the turn, raced in the four path into the lane and weakened in the stretch. LITTLE DIXIE broke in the air at the start and trailed the field throughout.
