Chart notes
FIBBER was a bit slow at the start, chased the pace early on, was in the five path into the lane, rallied down the lane and edged past the leader in the late stages. CRUISE MISSILE set the pace early on, raced in the two path into the lane, shook clear of foes nearing the eighth pole, continued to fight on down the lane but gave in and yielded in the final stages. SCRUPULOUS was well placed early on, raced in the six path entering the lane and moved up late in the stretch run. BRUNCH PUNCH tracked the pace early, made a three wide bid nearing the lane, was in the four path into the lane, continued the bid in the early stretch but weakened late in the drive. ADALENE pressed the pace early while two wide, made a bid from between horses into the lane but faded late in the stretch drive. C C GRAND was a tad slow at the start and never a factor. I AM BEAUTIFUL was a tad slow at the start and never a threat. THE FINAL TIME THAT APPEARED ON THE TV WAS TRIGGERED EARLY BUT WAS ELECTRONICALLY CORRECTED QUICKLY AFTER THE RACE.
