Chart notes
SEIGE THE DAY had good speed, contested the pace inside of BIG BAD BRIAN, responded on the second turn to edge clear into the stretch then held off SMOKIN KEN late. SMOKIN KEN The latter had no speed and trailed while racing off the rail to the second turn, lugged out five deep into the stretch then closed steadily but was too late. ZHIVAGO eased in early, tracked the leaders from the rail to the stretch but could not offer the needed late response. BIG BAD BRIAN attended the pace outside the winner and two wide to the second turn, got outkicked to the stretch then weakened. MISSY PARKER chased the pace two wide for three furlongs, remained two wide to the stretch but tired in the drive.
