Chart notes
WHELEN SPRINGS raced three wide early, stalked close up three wide, bid three wide midway on the far turn, dueled with TRADEMARK into the stretch, dug in gamely outside of that rival passing the furlong marker, took over at the sixteenth pole and edged away. TRADEMARK stalked close up two wide, then pressed the pace on the backside, bid two wide entering the far turn, took over, dueled with the winner in upper stretch, dug in gamely inside and battled to the finish. STEAL SUNSHINE raced off the pace, chased two wide on the far turn, came three wide into the lane, rallied mildly outside and got up late for the show spot. ZOZOS set the pace on the inside, was pushed along on the backside, dueled on the rail entering the far turn, then chased, dug in to midstretch and weakened. WEYBURN raced close up on the inside, tracked on the backside, chased inside on the far turn, gave way and was eased up late.
