Chart notes

REVENIR sped to the lead at the start and opened up around the first turn, continued with a clear advantage up the backstretch, rivals began to edge closer midway around the far turn, rider took a peek around hid shoulder, remained confidently ridden and widened advantage without much asking, saved ground entering upper stretch, hustled along for more, had plenty left in the tank and geared down late. TWIRLING CHIEF saved ground and raced behind the clear leader around the first turn, continued to track rival up the backstretch, picked up the pace entering the far turn, briefly edged closer on the eventual winner then hustled along two two wide into upper stretch, was no match for clear winner but kept on under steady urging and just lasted for place. APOLLO BAY was unhurried out of the gate and raced in the back, rated off the clear top trio up the backstretch, coaxed along the rail around the far turn, cut the corner entering the lane, sustained an inside bid and got nipped for place. GINGER RULES raced two wide around the first turn and tracked the early pace, picked up the tempo leaving the backstretch, hustled along three wide around the far turn then weakened in the lane. BRILLIANT COLORS was unhurried and raced in the back, hustled along two wide turning for home and failed to move on.
