Chart notes
INNOCENT MAN dueled inside of a rival and drew off late under mild urging. MIDNIGHT TIL DAWN dueled inside of the winner but was no match in the stretch. PURPLE AURA stalked the pace inside, then the rider lost the inside stirrup near the half-mile pole, regained it, saved ground but couldn't gain late. FULL DRESS BLUES was off slowly and found his best stride late. ACACIO stalked the pace in the four path, then faded in the stretch. SOPHIE'S SHADOW pressed the pace for a half mile before giving way.
