Chart notes
IL MIRACOLO stalked pacesetters three wide in hand, led midway on the final turn, bore out into the stretch, rallied clear, ducked out sharply near midstretch but increased his advantage to the finish. CAGLIOSTRO settled close up inside, angled out at the three eighths pole, rallied but could not get by inside the winner. DAYDREAMING BOY dropped well off the pace inside then closed well in the stretch while no threat. ADERO moved easily four wide off the leaders then proved empty in the stretch. NINETYPRCENTMADDIE prompted the pace in the two path for three quarters and faded. ARMY TIMES set a measured pace inside, was collared by pair of rivals then faded on the final turn. VICTORY WAY broke slowest, advanced very wide briefly after half a mile and stopped soon after. MOVISITOR chased within range between rivals for half a mile and gave way.
