Chart notes
INDEFATIGABLE tracked the early pace three wide, made a four wide move leaving the turn, hit the front nearing the furlong marker and drew away to prove best, driving. JOE PHILLIPS was rated along the inside, steadied and blocked nearing the quarter pole, shifted out leaving the three sixteenths and split rivals nearing the sixteenth marker and finished well to get the bob for the place award. OFFICER COUNTRY was settled early, four wide on the turn, came widest into the lane and rallied well on the outside. JUPITER BLUES dueled for the lead on the inside and faded late. FLY FLY AWAY tracked the pace in between rivals, then was in tight nearing the furlong marker and had no late kick. CITY PLAN chased the pace in between rivals, came four wide into the lane and had no rally. ERIC THE SALESMAN dueled for the lead two wide and weakened. KINGPIN was well placed on the inside and weakened in the drive. BOONDOGGLE was settled three wide on the turn and came five wide into the lane and was not a threat.
