Chart notes
RAGTIME BELLE raced three wide early, settled off the rail, off the pace, rallied five wide into the stretch, closed steadily outside, was going best late, reached the front in deep stretch and won going away. CARROLL GIRL raced three wide early, stalked two or three wide, bid three wide on the far turn, dueled with CHORUS GIRL, gained command in midstretch, edged away and then dug in gamely to the finish. PEPPERMINT CLASS raced off the pace, chased on the far turn, rallied four wide into the stretch, closed well inside of the winner, dug in gamely and outfinished for the place spot. CHORUS GIRL stalked two wide, bid two wide on the far turn, dueled into the stretch, dug in gamely on the rail and weakened late. PRACTICALITY set the pace on the inside, dueled briefly on the far turn and gave way. BELLA PALOMA tracked on the inside, then chased and gave way.
