Chart notes
COMPETITIVE SAINT was bumped at the start, stalked the pace three wide, bid nearing the quarter pole, vied three wide from there to midstretch, drifted in under right-handed urging leaving the eighth pole, slowly gained through the final furlong and was up in the final strides. STRAIGHT SHOT prompted the pace from the rail, took the lead leaving the quarter pole, edged ahead in upper stretch and led until the final strides. THENORTHREMEMBERS was rank at the start, trailed in the four path and ran on for the show. TORETTO set the pace in the two path, vied between the top two in upper stretch, was shut off leaving the eighth pole and faded from there. ATTENTIVE broke out and bumped the winner at the start, raced three wide and never threatened. AN OBJECTION LODGED BY THE RIDER OF TORETTO AGAINST THE WINNER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE IN MIDSTRETCH WAS NOT ALLOWED.
