Chart notes
SULTRY SALLY H took the lead soon after the start and rated the pace inside, came under pressure approaching the quarter pole, rounded the far turn near the rail and was kept sharp through the lane. MIDNIGHT REGRET rounded the opening turn about the three path, started a bid leaving the three eighths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and ran evenly to mid-stretch before flattening stride. SISTER SPIRIT saved ground on the first turn, picked up the chase approaching the three eighths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and showed little further. ULTIMATE BREEZE saved ground on the first turn, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the three path and flattened in the lane. IRISH SAMURAI raced in the four path the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path and weakened in the lane. I B NASTY saved ground early then angled out into the backstretch, showed little response and raced wide on the far turn. CHARLOTTE WEBLEY was through after a half mile.
