Chart notes
SAVE THE KING set a pressured pace along the inside, dug in deep stretch and prevailed under all out pressure. LUCKY ROMANCE pressed the early leader from the outside two deep and kept on gamely to the wire. Jockey of Luckey Romance claimed objection for interference around the far turn against Save the King and stewards ruled no change. BERNIN TUNE settled off the early pace, waited for racing nearing the five sixteenths pole racing near the rail, angled out and finished gamely late while closing in on the top pair. DOUBLE DRIBBLE dropped back off the early pace, moved up five wide into the upper stretch and lacked a rally. JET FLIGHT unhurried early on, saved ground and never threatened. IMPLEMENTER was off very slow, raced far back at the poor start and never menaced.
