Chart notes
WHERE'D THE DAY GO rated two deep down the backstretch, moved up three to four wide around the far turn, took aim into the upper stretch and finished well to edge clear under strong handlng. CHRISTMAS PRESENT stalked the pace, raced along the inside around the far turn, continued its inside run in the stretch, angled out nearing the sixteenth pole and finished gamely to the wire. GAGOOTS dropped back off the early pace, raced a bit wide through the far turn and moved up from the far outside in the lane. KRAMDEN was bumped at the start, raced two to three wide and moved up in the drive to improve position. ONE WAY HOME tracked the top pair down the backstretch three wide, made a strong bid through the far turn and weakened the final eighth of a mile. PISTOL BOX dropped back early on, raced wide in the stretch and had no response. OVERTHOUGHT was bumped at the start, showed good early foot along the inside and was empty in the drive.
