CITY MAN coaxed from the gate, settled tracking the front just off the inside until tucked inside with seven-sixteenths to go, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and swung three then four wide into upper stretch, rallied to issue a challenge inside the final eighth taking command seventy yards from the finish, then edged away to the finish to prevail. SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS just off the inside through the first turn, prompted the pace four then three wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole swung three wide into upper stretch, took over command with three-sixteenths to go, dug in under threat and was collared seventy yards from home, ran on to safely preserve the place honors. JERRY THE NIPPER showed the way in hand along the inside, came under coaxing in the two path at the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, yielded the front with three-sixteenths to go and weakened in the late stages. DAKOTA GOLD grew fractious in the gate leaping up and was allowed to settle before the start, tracked the pace along the inside and then just off the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, continued in the two path into upper stretch and had no kick. OCALA DREAM two to three wide in pursuit, came under coaxing three to four wide at the three-eighths, angled five wide into upper stretch and weakened.
