TOBESUNNY away well and stalked the leader into the stretch the first time while being carried out wide by the loose horse, continued down the backstretch while maintaining a stalking trip, rallied three wide entering the final turn, and closed determinedly four wide in he drive to get up for the place. VISENYA away alertly and tracked the leader through the stretch the first time while racing one out from the rail, maintained her position in the run down the backstretch, rallied two wide entering the final turn, but needed more when called upon in the drive. DONE THAT unhurried early while dropping back to trail, rallied two wide entering the final turn, but failed to mount a serious late bid when called upon. PEACEHAVEN settled off the early pace while saving ground at the rail entering the stretch the first time, continued to save ground throughout, but failed to respond when called upon. SILVER ARROW was fractious and unprepared at the start, while still in the hands of the assistant starter, broke awkwardly and unseated her rider. Following the running of this race the stewards conducted an inquiry into the start of the race, and after review deemed that SILVER ARROW did not receive a fair start and therefore declared her a non starter.
