LETSTAKEITOUTSIDE stalked the leader form the three path, raced between rivals on the front end, launched a bid at the five sixteenth pole, split rivals at the quarter pole, drew next to the leaders and challenged for the lead at the eighth pole, battled and prevailed by the sixteenth pole and came home the winner. GILDERSLEEVE stalked the front runner from the four path, raced in between horses, maintained his position, launched a bid at the quarter pole, matched strides with the eventual winner, could not sustain the bid to over come the winner but did clear the rest of the field and came away with the place spot. ONE TOUGH CHARLIE vied for the lead, raced in the two path, matched strides and led in a set with a rival to the inside, shook the inside rival and led at the five sixteenth pole, was still in the lead entering the stretch by a fractional margin, was collared at the eighth pole, battled briefly, then relinquished the lead and finished third today. CHROMPTON stalked the pace setters from the rail, raced on the inside of the second tier, maintained his position through out. G'S STORM stalked the pace from the five path, was on the outside int he second tier, went widest through the turn, made no impact in the stretch run. SILVER CHALICE vied for the lead, raced in the two path, set the pace while working in a set with another rival to the outside, matched strides until the five sixteenth pole then gave way. SWIFT N TRAFFIC raced from off of the pace early on, raced on the rail, advanced and gained ground down the back side, was in contention by the three eighths pole but to no avail. OSCAR CHOICE end up off of the pace, raced in between foes in the two path, shifted into the four path in the upper stretch but made no impact. PERFECT TOM stalked the pace setting set from the two path, was in the second tier for competitors, had no kick. XANTHUS WRATH raced from off of the pace in the four path and showed little.
