Chart notes
SAN MATEO KAT was reserved off the early pace, rallied two-wide into the stretch splitting rivals, took the lead nearing the eighth pole and quickly drew clear. DAPHNE'S FIRE vied for the lead while racing three-wide, gained a slight lead nearing the quarter pole, was carried out five-wide entering the stretch when MAGICAL GOLD drifted out, then was unable to stay with the winner during the drive but finished well for second. ELENA MAE broke out and bumped YANKEES MIRACLES, then was allowed to settle while racing four-wide on the turn, came six-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. TALKATIVE was unhurried early, rallied six-wide into the stretch, angled in during the drive and gained his best stride too late. MAGICAL GOLD saved ground setting the early pace, drifted out three-wide leaving the quarter pole and tired. IZEADISTORTEDLADY prompted the early pace while two-wide, angled to the inside when MAGICAL GOLD drifted out to offer a bid entering the stretch and then faltered during the drive. YANKEES MIRACLES was bumped at the start then settled in the middle of the field while racing two-wide but lacked a rally. LIGHTNING MELODY was off a step slow then saved ground and failed to seriously threaten. MUCH ALOHA was bumped at the start by DIAMONDS R FOREVER, then raced four-wide and failed to menace. DIAMONDS R FOREVER broke out sharply to bump MUCH ALOHA, then settled in the middle of the field while five-wide and gave way during the drive.
