Chart notes
BELL DOZER vied with CLASSIC POWER from along the inside, shook that one off entering the stretch and maintained a safe advantage. PURE MALICE saved ground while being reserved off the pace, slipped through entering the stretch and closed strongly. CLASSIC POWER (IRE) vied for the lead with BELL DOZER from along the outside to the stretch, could not stay with that one but held on for the show. SPECIAL MEMORY saved ground while being forwardly placed early, angled out three-wide at the quarter pole and was gaining slightly late. DEVIL'S MISCHIEF settled in stride early, came four-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. J G JETT was prominent early while racing three-wide, came six-wide into the stretch and tired. ONE LAST THING broke in and dropped back to save ground and trailed throughout.
