Chart notes
MOST AMUSING sprinted to a clear lead to set all the pace, edged away in early stretch then had to dig in late to hold off the late challenge. CHUCK NAZTY was last away, roused to prompt the pace through the turn and made a late challenge on the leader but missed. THREE BALL tracked the leaders from three or four wide and made a late gain in the stretch but tired. SUEZ trailed the field while racing four wide to the turn then tipped in to save ground on the turn while moving up but lacked a late response.
