Chart notes
FOREVER SOUPER broke half a step slow, settled off the pace, moved up two wide on the backside, tracked on the far turn, bid three wide at the quarter pole, swept to the front on his own, kicked clear and cruised home in hand. KYGO (GER) raced off the pace with an inside trip, angled out at the top of the stretch, rallied and finished well for second. MONTAUK POINT trailed the field, advanced outside rivals on the far turn, came four wide into the lane, rallied mildly outside and got up for third. LOGICO set the pace on the inside, dueled on the far turn, dug in gamely in the lane and weakened late. GREATHEART raced off the rail, off the pace, came three wide into the lane and lacked a rally. SOUPER ENERGIZER stalked close up two wide, then pressed the pace, bid on the far turn, dueled and faded. MT SURIBACHI raced close up early on the inside, tracked and faded.
