Chart notes
BEHIND THE CURTAIN set the pace from the four path into the turn, was challenged by an inner foe while in the three path at the top of the lane, dug in gamely through the lane, and repelled that challenger to win. CUCINA stalked in the three path, shifted inside into the turn, bid from the rail into the stretch, and ran on, but was repelled by the outer pacesetter to place. TILLIS tracked in the five path, was ridden around the turn, and kept on in the stretch for show. MEGA BOND trailed along the inside early, tipped out to the four path into the lane, and passed tired foes. MONET'S DEVIL chased in the six path but was no factor. SPANISH HOMBRE prompted the pace in the five path, but faded in the stretch. RIVER RULER rated in the two path but was no menace.
