Chart notes
STANDARD OF PROOF vied two wide for the lead, dueled with MALIBU SPRINGS on the backside, dueled between rivals on the far turn, battled heads apart with AQUARIUS MOON passing the furlong marker and prevailed determinedly inside of that rival. AQUARIUS MOON raced four wide early, stalked three or four wide, bid three wide on the far turn, dueled into the lane, dug in gamely outside of the winner in the stretch run and battled to the end. MODERN ERA trailed the field, chased three wide on the far turn, came five wide into the lane and closed belatedly for third. MALIBU SPRINGS vied inside for the lead, dueled inside on the backside and far turn, then weakened in the lane. MAX'S GLORY stalked between rivals, chased on the far turn and lacked a rally. LIFE ON THE NILE raced close up early on the inside, then tracked inside, chased and faded.
