FILM STAR was hustled to the front, went around the first turn in the two path, showed the way down the backstretch, vied inside to the two path on the far turn, responded well when set down in upper stretch, was given one pop of a right-handed crop at the furlong marker then switched to a left-handed crop, drifted out some inside the sixteenth-pole then was straightened by the rider and proved best under steady handling. LEADING CONTENDER saved ground on the first turn, was well placed just off the pace, came under urging in the two path on the far turn, was driven three wide into the stretch, pursued the winner in the drive and earned the place. SAQEEL broke out then was hustled, went three wide on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, was asked in the three path on the far turn, came four wide at the quarter-pole, lost touch with the winner in upper stretch, drifted out some near the furlong marker and missed the place while well clear for the show. OLYMPIC DREAMS started the first turn in the two path then shifted four wide, settled on the outside, was roused four wide on the far turn and failed to respond. THE PRINCE'S SPUR bobbled slightly at the start then brushed with a foe and dropped back, went four wide on the first turn, settled towards the rear, was urged five then four wide on the far turn, dropped to the three path into upper stretch and capitulated. MOORE'S LAW was last away then taken up and clipped heels, dropped well behind while saving ground and trailed.
