ZEN MASTER , taken to rate off the inside, angled out through the backstretch run, edged closer into the far turn, responded to asking soon after, circled four wide into the lane, engaged rivals from the outside soon into the lane, battled outside BIG ROWDY DAN through the final seventy yards and got the bob. BIG ROWDY DAN , four then three wide stalking, moved up to apply more pressure past the three eighths, gained a slim lead into the lane, battled gamely inside the winner and just missed. CAVALRY COMMAND , bumped at the start, sped clear early and set the pace two wide, dropped to the rail past the three eighths when pressured, stayed on after being headed near the eighth pole, sparred to mid stretch then faded late. SHACKINTHEBOX lost ground throughout and had belated action. GRAND ESCAPE drifted in at the break and bumped RASCALLY REBEL, corrected and went up to prompt 3wd, vied between foes near the three eighths, pressed two wide leaving the far turn, failed to kick on nearing the lane and weakened. RASCALLY REBEL , bumped and in tight at the break, recovered and edged up while saving ground, advanced under urging and tried to work through a rail seam leaving the three eighths, eased back off foes, failed to kick on leaving the quarter pole and weakened.
