Chart notes
THUNDER ROAD was off a bit slow, settled off of the pace, raced in the two path, made one run, saved ground, shifted into the six path near the quarter pole, was given the cue and responded by draw away for an impressive win. FABLED RULER raced from off of the pace, raced in the three path, settled, mase one run, shifted into the six path and circled the field through the turn, was asked and responded well closing in the stretch, hooked an inside competitor in the furlong ground, battled, prevailed, out finishing the rest. NINEJUANJUAN CALL raced from off of the pace, was allowed to settle, raced in the four and five paths, found his stride around the seven sixteenth pole, shifted into he three path and saved ground, split horses in the upper stretch, closed well, just missed for second. BIG STORY went five wide in the first turn, stalked the early leader on the outside, drew near the leaders going into the second turn, challenged for and took the lead at the five sixteenth pole, was caught by an outside foe and was second by the quarter pole, raced willingly into the stretch, was caught by two fast closing rivals and gave way. PRINCE OF GLORY stalked the front runners, rated in hands, raced three wide, steadily faded after the five sixteenth pole. FETCHS BRAHM raced in the two path, laid off of the speed, stalked around the bend, shifted into the five path, at the quarter pole, maintained that position the rest of the race. LITTLE JONY vied for the lead, raced in the two and three paths, set the pace while being pressured, then stopped by the quarter pole. WESTERN STAR vied for the lead, raced in the three and four paths, co led down the back side, raced in between rivals, gave way at the three eighths pole.
