AMERICAN KNOW HOW broke in and bumped hard with a rival, settled off the pace, was roused while moving from the two path to the four path on the turn, came five wide into the stretch, rallied on the outside, lugged in while gaining at the furlong marker then was corrected by the rider, lugged in while closing well to get the lead inside the sixteenth-pole and prevailed while kept off the runner-up by the rider under a strong right-handed grip. ALEXIS ZORBA (GB) bumped with a rival at the start, moved in while going to the front, set the pace under pressure to his outside, vied along the hedge on the turn, shook clear coming to the quarter-pole, led under a drive into the final sixteenth but was caught while clear for the place. IRON MAN JIMMY broke out and brushed the gate then bumped with a foe, settled towards the rear, tossed his head while pulling hard under stout restraint leaving the backstretch, was let out in the two path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and finished with good courage for the show. BE THERE settled off the pace, shifted from the three path to the five path on the turn, moved out in upper stretch and improved to just miss the show. KASIMBA dropped back then settled on the outside, was roused three wide on the turn, moved out in upper stretch and failed to rally. LIQUID ADDICTION (IRE) tracked the pace on the outside, was asked three wide on the turn, spun four wide into the stretch, chased into the final furlong and tired. OFF THE CLOCK pressed the pace on the outside then in the two path on the turn, dropped back nearing the quarter-pole, spun three wide into the stretch and weakened. COLLECT FROM IKE bumped with foes on both sides at the start, settled on the outside, went four wide on the turn, angled out in upper stretch and was no factor. SOCIAL ACCEPTANCE was bumped hard on both sides at the start, settled towards the rear, saved ground on the turn, steadied at the quarter-pole and never reached contention then was eased late but walked off. BORLETTI (IRE) was away awkwardly, raced just off the pace under restraint, dropped back leaving the backstretch, rounded the turn in the two path and faltered then was eased late but also walked off. TRIUMPHANT ROAD broke out and bumped hard with a rival then stumbled and unseated the rider. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE START, NO CHANGE WAS MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH
