Chart notes
HARLEY'S CHARLY far behind early, circled his field on the final turn and edged away in the late stages. SKYHOOK trailed early, rallied inside and was up for the place late with good energy. CATTY'S UNCLE settled three wide, bid on the turn, vied wide in the stretch and continued willingly. MUTTLEY prompted the pacesetter outside, vied to midstretch and weakened. SPIRIT'S HERO chased off the pace between foes and proved empty in the stretch. HOT LOVE underwent a shoe repair in the paddock, stumbled at the start, rushed up inside then faltered. LITTLE J P set a pressured pace off the inside then gave way in the final furlong. A claim of foul by the rider of the third finisher against the winner for interference in the stretch was dismissed.
