LA SANTA CLARA stumbled and was off slowly, outrun early, advanced between rivals on the far turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, dueled three wide in the final sixteenth and prevailed in a driving finish. COWGIRL HOP vied inside for the lead, dueled on the backside, dug in gamely on the rail in the final furlong, came again, drifted out at the sixteenth marker and got second. DON'T ANNOY ME tracked the dueling leaders, bid three wide on the far turn, rallied four wide in the stretch run and dueled through the final sixteenth. PAUL'S TRICKY TALE vied two wide for the lead, dueled on the backside, shook free on the far turn, dueled past midstretch, was tiriing and steadied at the sixteenth marker. LIFESAWINDINGROAD raced off the pace, chased four wide on the far turn, drifted wide at the quarter pole, then finished evenly outside. A Jockey's Objection by the rider of PAUL'S TRICKY TALE against COWGIRL HOP was dismissed.
