Chart notes
MR CHANCE ROMANCE took the lead soon after the start and moved to the inside to rate the pace, came under pressure leaving the seven sixteenths pole, was met approaching the quarter and contested the edge nearest the rail on the far turn then dug in determinedly and just lasted. NEVERPOPTHECORK rounded the opening turn in the two and three paths, picked up the chase past the seven sixteenths pole and raced in the four path the far turn, dug in through the stretch for second and just missed. CHASE LIL ME saved ground well off the early pace, started a bid approaching the three eighths pole and raced in the six path on the far turn, then outfinished in the stretch duel for second. ROAD SLEW saved ground, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced two deep on the far turn and finished well inside. ORANGEBURG stalked two deep then challenged leaving the seven sixteenths pole, dueled to even terms toward the quarter, contested at a close disadvantage through the far turn then flattened inside the sixteenth pole. NO LOVE FOR JUBA bobbled at the break and rounded the first turn in the four path, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced in the three path on the far turn then flattened inside the sixteenth pole. MODERN DAY ROMANCE raced in the three path the first turn, picked up the chase toward the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the four path and weakened. GET OFF MY CLOUD settled inside, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and weakened.
