Chart notes
LAKE NAKURU raced in the three path around the first turn, trailed the field up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path coming around the far bend and kicked clear in the lane. CARTE BLANCHE raced in the two path early, led the way on the inside up the backstretch, dueled from the rail around the second turn, was caught entering the stretch and chased the winner home. POCOPSON STATION stalked the leaders on the outside through the opening half mile, continued around the far turn still in the three path and finished evenly. STAY HYDRATED raced in the two path around the first turn, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, came around the far bend in the three path and made no bid. HOT AND HEAVY saved ground early, raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, dropped back while racing in the three path around the far turn and was empty in the lane.
