Chart notes
EL LUCERITO took the lead passing the seven sixteenths pole and rated the pace, came under pressure a furlong later, raced at the rail on the turn and was steadily handled in the lane. HARDLY EVER BETTER engaged in close early chase from the seven sixteenths pole, dropped back approaching the quarter pole but dug in to clear second later yards. TEACHINTHERELEASE chased through the backstretch, raced near the rail on the turn then flattened stride inside the sixteenth pole. REATA'S CASTLE gave chase, entered the turn about the three path but left the turn outside and flattened stride. COLT ROCK gave chase, rounded the turn in the three path and weakened in the lane. ELEANORS JACK gave chase then faded off the rail on the turn.
