Chart notes
HALO MOON raced along the rail in compact quarters in the opening quarter and steadied near the seven sixteenths pole, edged back and swung to the outside around the turn, hustled along five wide into upper stretch, kicked in gamely when called upon, surged along the outside and got up in final stride. WESTERN TOURIST raced off the compact flight in the opening quarter, let out a notch and circled up three to four wide to take over the lead mid-way around the turn, continued clear on top in deep stretch then got caught in final strides. LEA ME BE dueled three wide for the early lead and battled on into the turn, could not move on with WESTERN TOURIST past the five sixteenths pole but stayed on with response, chased along the rail through the lane and cleared the rest. AIR JOCK vied four wide for the early lead, battled on to the mid-way point around the turn then got collared by WESTERN TOURIST, came four wide into upper stretch and faded in the final furlong. J PS HARLEY GLIDER dueled for the lead up the backstretch, got collared three furlongs from home but continued to chase along the inside then faded in the final furlong. GEM COLLECTION vied between rivals up the backstretch, weakened around the turn and continued to tore in the drive.
