Chart notes
FATHER DELAY reserved early while coming in some, launched rally early on the turn, advanced three, four then five wide into the stretch, moved out further through the lane, continued rally from outside in the lane and finally reeled in top pair nearing the wire. MIDNIGHT FURY bumped with inner rival early, four deep early forcing the pace, dropped back bit around the turn, fought back in the drive, moved up between foes late and gained second. DEVIL MOON forced then dueled while outside foe, gained lead exiting the turn, dug in late but could not hold top pair. HOUNDSTOOTH angled over early between foes on the turn, continued two wide into the stretch and finished willingly. THE BULLION BOMBER (IRE) settled off the pace, bumped with inside foe passing half-mile marker, moved up five wide into and around the turn, continued on same path into the stretch and lacked needed late response. WORTH LOOKING angled over early, secured the rail, remained inside and was no late threat. STORM THE NIGHT bobbled leaving the gate, rushed up inside, gained brief lead from along the rail and later weakened. TRUSTY RUSTY unhurried and dropped well back and bit off the rail then never reached contention. PAPA TIGER showed good early foot, exchanged bumps with outside rival nearing turn then stalked while five wide, climbed while four wide then had to check midway around the bend and faded. IMPERIAL HORNET put in tight quarters while getting bumped and steadied sharply, dropped back, moved to rail to stalk leaders and later weakened. STAN FROM MALIBU bumped between rivals early, forced the early issue while three wide, fell back on the turn and weakened.
