Chart notes
ALBERTA BE MINE was part of the pace scenario inside down the backstretch, had a slim advantage on the fence while pressured outside on the turn, edged away from the early speed foes straightening out for the drive, braced for the new challenger closing in at the eighth pole and stubbornly found more late to hold on for the win. CHROME'S ANGEL ran between rivals tracking the front three at the half, waited to pounce on the turn, burst between rivals finding a seam in the three path turning for home, fought throughout the stretch gamely but just could not get by the winner at the finish. ASHLEE'S RING prompted the pace three deep at the half, continued to hound the leaders outside travelling on the bend, angled out to the five path posing a threat turning for home, battled until mid stretch but could not match strides with the top two late and crossed the wire a clear third. NO MORE DIAMONDS watched the front three outside three wide down the back straight, tracked three wide keeping pace with the leaders on the turn, could not quicken with inside foe starting a run at the quarter pole and was one paced in the stretch for a minor role in the end. SPEEDY JOHNY broke a step slow trailing down the backside, was urged right handed at the quarter pole trying to get into contention and finished with late interest to pass weary runners in the final eighth. SILVER SIGN tracked on the fence in the second flight in the early going, was nudged inside running on the turn making little headway, put in a mild run slipping up the rail in upper stretch to be in contention but yielded in the last sixteenth. STOLE THE RING had a slim advantage down the back straight, pressed the issue between co-leaders through the turn, was the first of the front threesome early to give way at the top of the lane, checked when losing path in upper stretch, shifted out late but had no finish. BLONDE DYNAMO was unhurried on the rail near the rear, made little improvement inside through the turn, shifted outwards to the four path for the drive but could not make any impact finishing to the wire.
