BEL PENSIERO vied two wide for the lead, dueled with PERSPICACIOUS on the backside, then dueled inside of MIDNIGHT HEIRESS on the far turn, turned back that rival in midstretch and drew clear under urging. MIDNIGHT HEIRESS stalked the leaders, bid three wide entering the far turn, dueled outside of the winner, dug in gamely in the stretch run and came up second best. THE CLASSY ONE was off a bit slow, raced off the pace inside, moved up two wide on the far turn, then lacked a rally. PERSPICACIOUS vied inside for the lead, dueled with the winner, chased on the far turn and gave way. POSTINO'S PROPHECY raced off the rail, off the pace and was outrun.
