Chart notes
UNILATERAL was well back, gained ground on the far turn and from the eight path at the top of the stretch rallied in time. SENSIBLE PORTIONS was unhurried early and a factor on the far turn but from the six path at the top of the stretch just missed. NAVAL OFFICER set the pace and dueled on the far turn but had nothing left. SAME AGAIN DOC stalked the early leader, forced the pace on the far turn but checked in mid stretch and weakened. TIMMINS was in touch and raced evenly on the far turn but from the seven path at the top of the stretch was not a factor. RICKI TORNADO was in range but chased on the far turn and came up empty. A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER ON SAME AGAIN DOC AGAINST SENSIBLE PORTIONS FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH RESULTED IN SENSIBLE PORTIONS BEING DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED FOURTH.
