Chart notes
STRAWBERRY CONE settled off the pace three wide, earned a narrow lead into the lane and gradually edged clear. TACO BEAN raced in closest pursuit of the pacesetter, led briefly at the quarter pole and continued gamely. HEALY'S HOPE saved ground within striking range then raced evenly in the stretch. CENTER MID MADDIE quickly sped away under a rating hold, was collared on the turn and faltered. SKILLFUL trailed outside then caught fading rivals. SPLITZVILLE lacked speed outside and was never in contention.
