CAPTAIN MAD JACK tracked the pace, moved up on the two path through the turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, shook clear, then lasted under steady pressure. LEBASI broke out, exchanging bumps at the start, moved up on the two path through the turn, came three wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and missed. CROWLEY'S WAR bobbled and lost his path at the start, moved up quickly to be well placed inside, gained position on the two path through the turn, came through on that path into the lane, angled out, loosing the whip, then angled back in and could not gain, holding the show. FEVOLA allowed to settle, saved ground through the turn, came through inside into the stretch and closed for a share. GENIUS sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then faded the final furlong. EXTRA MEDIUM passed a tiring rival, widest. LEGIO broke in, exchanging bumps at the start, was well placed and outside, held position three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch and had no rally.
