Chart notes
TAKE FLIGHT stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, raced in the two path around the turn, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground between horses in the stretch to get up. RANCHO A GO GO raced in the middle of the pack on the outside early, began a bid from the three path coming around the turn and gained ground late but had to settle for second. LUCKY MCCOY raced off the pace on the outside through the opening quarter, began to move up from the four path coming around the bend and continued to improve position in the lane. JOHNNY APPLESEED bumped with the horse to his inside and was shuffled back at the break, raced in the middle of the pack up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path and gained ground on the outside late. RAPID EXPANSION veered in and bumped with the horse to his outside leaving the gate, was hurried to an early lead racing up the backstretch, continued to show the way while saving ground around the turn, dug in in upper stretch and gave way late. FROM PIT TO PALACE chased the leader early, saved ground around the bend and faded in the lane. GOLD BARON raced off the pace between horses up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path and made no bid.
