BEN'S SUNNY ISLAND stalked the dueling leaders, moved up at the quarter pole, rallied three wide into the stretch, closed willingly outside, ran to the front past the furlong marker, drew clear and was kept to the task. TAK E LADY raced off the pace inside, advanced at the quarter pole, rallied on the rail and dug in late to hold second. SAVE THE FLAG raced two wide off the pace, moved up entering the stretch, rallied mildly in the two path and closed well late. FAST COREY dueled inside for the lead, dueled with WHATCHAMACALL on the turn, led into the stretch, dug in on the rail to midstretch, then weakened. WHATCHAMACALL dueled two wide for command, dueled on the turn and tired. R LOVE ON THE RUN chased four wide early, chased on the turn and faded.
