Chart notes
CLYDE'S GOT A GUN settled off the early pace, was blocked nearing the five sixteenths pole while racing from the inside, angled out, surged up late proved best under strong pressure. FAYETTE SPIRIT set a pressured pace along the inside, raced well clear near the eighth pole but couldn't hold off the winner late in a game effort. CAIRO'S GHOST rated along early from the outside, raced four wide into the upper stretch and had not enough for the top pair in the drive. REAL NAUGHTY prompt the early leader two deep from the outside and weakened in the drive. TIZ THE COAST rated along under a firm hold, ridden from the inside near the three eighths pole and faded while continuing an inside run. BIG SKIPPY was bumped, jostled at the break, stalked the pace three deep down the backstretch and faded. TEXAS PRIDE lag early on, lost ground to race far back and was eased up on through the stretch run.
